Kidney and Gallbladder Cleanse Unedited

Kidney and Gallbladder Cleanse
There are so many versions of it and you have to make sure that you can take the elevated blood pressure and the Epsom's Salts.  Be sure to read all about the cleanse and talk to your doctor before considering to doit.

Day 1:

Do not eat any fats.  I wished that I ate some fruits for sugar and regretted it later.  All I had was a bowl of Rice Chex.  Stop eating at 12:30pm.  Fast and only drink water.  Only take the medications that are vital to you.  I got a little faint from 2-4pm.  After that, I had a massive migraine and Advil helped to put a buffer but I didn't know to take it until 8:30pm since I tried to follow the cleanse by the book.  Thankfully, it didn't seem to affect the cleanse.

Mixture: 3/4 cup of water with 1 tablespoon of salt.  If you are under 100 pounds, consider 1/2-3/4 of a tablespoon.

6:30 or 7pm: Take a dosage.  Expect some bowel movement and keep drinking water.

2 hours later: repeat

2 hours later: Drink fresh (make your own and do not purchase already made) grapefruit juice and olive oil.  Shake it up till the two are blended in a glass container.  It will make drinking it more palatable.  Store bought juice won't blend as well.

Mixture: 1/2 cup of extra pure virgin olive oil with the juice from 1 full grapefruit

Do not clean your kitchen.  Lie down as quickly as possible and imagine all the bile and stones traveling down your ducts.  You will hear lots of activity for 30 mins.  I heard it for 1.5 hours.  I could hear and feel my gallbladder squirting out bile.

Once it is quiet, you can get up and clean up or brush your teeth and get ready for bed.  I had a couple of bowel movements.

Day 2:
The next morning, you will take another dosage of water with Epsom's salt first thing in the morning.

This will flush out whatever stones have made their way to your intestines and push them out.  You will know by either using a strainer or seeing the ones that float.  Some sites recommend a coffee enema before the start of the cleanse and the next morning to make sure your intestines are clear to make way for the stones or to help them pass.  I didn't do the enema and had a few bowel movements.

Most sites recommend a 2nd dosage of water with Epsom's salt 2 hours later but this may set you over the edge and not make you want to do this cleanse again.  It was not necessary in my case so don't feel like you need to.  I had 4 bowel movements just from the first dosage.

I felt so much better after it all - it's like cleaning out your pipes!

Tips: Definitely do it over the weekend as you will have low energy from fasting and you will need easy access to a bathroom.  There is nothing sexy about running off to the bathroom when out with friends.
A Saturday is best and by Sunday, you can eat regular foods.  Just introduce the foods slowly as you won't have much in your system.  By Sunday night, I was able to eat a regular meal.

I'll be doing this cleanse every 2 weeks so more to come.
